Convenient Postal Account

The account that's as convenient as your nearest post box but still with Bath Building Society's brand of personal service!
If you have a busy life, or if you cannot get into a branch or agency office of Bath Building Society, then this easy access postal account could just be what you're looking for!

It really is as simple as it sounds.............you send in your cheque deposits or signed withdrawal requests with your

passbook in the special FREEPOST envelopes, and by return, you receive your passbook back with the updated transaction!

Facts about Direct Saver

  • All you need is £2,500 to open the account, however, you can hold up to £300,000
  • Easy access to your money by post with a minimum withdrawal of £250
  • Withdrawal funds can be sent by cheque payable to you, or we can pay directly into a designated bank account in your name
  • Interest earned immediately cheque deposits received at the Society's Head Office
  • Interest is added to your account on 31st December each year. A monthly interest option is also available
  • Interest rate is variable. Interest rate is variable and will never fall more than 0.75% below the Bank of England base rate
  • Full stationery pack will be provided, including all forms necessary to operate the account, and a supply of FREEPOST envelopes
